The Administration Department at Harare Polytechnic is responsible for the overall management and coordination of institutional operations. It provides strategic leadership, ensures policy implementation, and oversees the efficient functioning of all academic and non‑academic units. The department works closely with the Principal, Vice Principal, and all division heads to maintain a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research.

Supporting the Principal, Council, and committees in policy development and decision‑making.
Coordinating term dates, examinations, and institutional events.
Maintaining official records, student files, and institutional archives.
Overseeing welfare, disciplinary matters, and grievance handling.
Managing office space, security, and general campus administration.
Liaising with government, partners, and the community; coordinating visits and ceremonies.
